Rules & Regulations

The value of the house located at 19920 Berkshire Drive in Mokena is estimated at $600,000. The value was arrived at through a market analysis and is not a guaranteed value. The winner assumes all responsibility for any state, county or federal taxes or fees.

In addition to the grand prize, ten $1,000 prizes will be awarded.

Entry deadline for the Grand Prize Raffle Drawing is Sunday, October 4, 2009.

Certified Public Accountants verify the raffle proceedings.

The Raffle Drawing will take place during halftime at the Central/East Football game on Friday, October 16, 2009, at Lincoln-Way Central High School, 1801 E. Lincoln Highway in New Lenox.

In order for the house to be given away as a prize, 6,000 tickets must be sold. If less than 6,000 tickets are sold, then the house is not given away. The raffle then becomes a 50/50 raffle, with all cash prizes, including the ten $1,000 prizes, paid from the cash equivalent of 50 percent of the gross ticket sales and the Lincoln-Way High School District 210 Foundation for Educational Excellence retaining the cash equivalent of the other 50 percent of gross ticket sales.

You must be 18 years of age to participate.

By purchasing a house raffle ticket, winners agree to allow Lincoln-Way High School District 210 Foundation to release their names and use their likeness to promote the house raffle, or to announce the winners. No compensation will be given for the use of photos or testimonials.
